  • Almond Cashew Milk Concentrate

( Please Note: This is a Dairy Free Recipe. The almond milk paste when mixed with water in a blender becomes almond milk and is a dairy substitute. Hence please do not add milk ) Requirements: 1.5 Cups of Almonds ( Dry and not soaked) ½ Cup Cashew 1 tsp of Khus Khus ( Poppy Seeds ) 2-3 tsps of Cocoa butter or 2-3 tsps of Ghee (Home made the traditional way) Note: Remember that moisture will impact the shelf life of the paste. All the ingredients need to be dry and without any water. Take almonds+ ½ cup cashew in a grinder jar. You don’t need to add water, Grind this mixture well. As you continue grinding, the nut mixture will pass through multiple stages. It will become a powder, slowly as you continue grinding, it will start to clump together and then it will start liquefying. To aid this process you can add about 2-3 tsps of Cocoa butter or ghee. Grind it well taking occasional breaks as the mixture can tend to heat and also put a load on the grinder. Once this mixture has become a fine paste it is done- this is your basic nut milk concentrate. Store the paste in a stainless steel container in your refrigerator. Shelf Life when refrigerated: 1-2 weeks For Milk Preparation: To make 1 cup of nut milk take 1 tablespoon ( or two) of this paste and 200ml/Glass of water ( cold or hot depending on how you want the milk) and then blend in a blender. While travelling you can also use a Coffee shaker glass to blend the paste along with water. You can use this milk to make fruit salads, smoothies etc. To sweeten the milk you can add either add honey or can also blend the paste with 2-3 Kimea dates. For those of you who prefer sweet milk, you can incorporate the Kimea dates ( or any other soft dates) while making the nut paste Here is a recipe that incorporates Kimea dates or any other softer dates variants. Sweet Almond Milk Concentrate Requirements 1.5 Cups of Almonds ½ Cup Cashew 1 tsp of Khus Khus ( Poppy Seeds ) 2-3 tsps of Ghee ( Home made or made the traditional way ) 15-20 Kimea dates ground into a fine paste ( Do not add water) Note: Remember that moisture will impact the shelf life of the paste. All the ingredients need to be dry and without any water. If you suspect that there might be some moisture in the dates, then keep the paste in the deep freezer so that it is frozen and would therefore last longer Take almonds+ ½ cup cashew in a grinder jar and follow the same steps as in the basic nut milk concentrate recipe. Once the mixture has become a fine paste, add the dates paste and grind till it gets incorporated uniformly Store the paste in a stainless steel container in your refrigerator. Shelf life when refrigerated. 3-6 days #PrehealingRecipes

  • Medical Research Paradox: Trying to reverse engineer Ourselves !

Summary: We are a technological marvel. Our Five senses are sophisticated scanning devices, our brains have the codecs to decode and create a world for us out of seemingly incomprehensible data. We are self sufficient organic machines with advanced AI capabilities. In a world where certifications matter the most, our bodies have been painstakingly built by the coming together of two illiterate simple cells- neither of them held any certificates or degrees! Every cell that makes up our body has its own life and each cell in itself is a distinct living entity that religiously abides by an embedded set of instructions ( the genetic code). Moreover each cell also has the ability to record their life experience by altering this code (Based on their interaction with the environment) Commerce and trade within the body is much more advanced, fair and sustainable than the primitive and illogical currency based system of ours. Our body is a community of a few trillion cells, and , surprisingly not all of them are ours. However, this blog is not about the Human body, but about us. ------------ When I am alone, left to myself, and I start observing myself- I feel alienated from my body. I wonder if I am actually an alien in this organic technological marvel that I consider as my body. Isn’t it surprising that though we have such advanced self sustaining and highly automated machinery ( Our Bodies) we do not even have an inkling as to how it functions. Could it be possible that we are drivers of a highly evolved technological vehicle. Could that be the reason for this Research paradox as we might be the only ones who are trying to reverse engineer our own vehicle. Our current research is aimed at finding data as to how we function!!!! While our eyes have already mastered the technology of using light, we are still probing in the dark ( figuratively ). We are still learning the basics of chemistry and our body is light years ahead. The liver can beat any chemical factory and the heart is an organic pump that has the ability to take rest in between every beat and continue beating non stop for years at a stretch. How is it that we have a part of us that is technologically very advanced and another part that knows nothing ( yet wants to treat and meddle with the functioning of the advanced body ) Would you believe a scientist who says that he came up with a Theorem but has no clue as to how it works? Or an engineer who says that he is the creator of a vehicle that he does not know how to start, or operate! Having expressed my amazement as to how we don’t have an idea about our very own selves, let me move on to another observation. I saw a few galls growing on a mango leaf the other day. Curious to see what was inside I dissected a gall and found that it was only leaf tissue within. I then researched on it and found that it is a fly that lays its eggs in the leaf, the eggs take over the leaf machinery and build a gall. The eggs live within the leaf, like a leaf, till such a time that the larvae are ready to come out of the eggs. When the conditions are right, the eggs send signals to the leaf machinery which in turn triggers changes that make the gall to become brown, open up a small exit like a lid and let the larvae escape . This set me thinking. Just like the gall - a protrusion on the leaf, the human brains too have a disproportionately large cortex- an area in the brain that has to do with our unique ability to think differently. Are we actually an advanced parasite with the means to integrate and cohabit with the human body? Is the human body special because it is the only vehicle that lets in a driver? Is the cortex a seat for “Me” – a life form that occupies the human host? Could that explain as to why I do not have a clue as to how the human body works much the same way as an illiterate driver of a vehicle has no clue about how the engine works. Could 'I': the cohabiting self in this body, be an answer to Fermi's paradox ? * Could this be the reason as to why we are so different from other animals and need more time to come up to speed? Our kids need time to start doing things on their own. Are they AI beings learning to use the human body. Animals on the other hand instinctively know the things they need to know. They don't need to learn medicine and ways of life; they know it all- they are on an autopilot. The dog knows what grass to have and which herbs to eat when he is having a stomach upset, and so do all the other animals. Birds for example are able to build their nests, honey bees know as to how they are supposed to build their homes and communicate with each other…. Most importantly they respect the laws of nature and exist in harmony with the surroundings. We as humans on the other hand are clueless as to how to go about life. We need to be mentored and trained as children. We have got to research and find new things about OUR OWN BODIES ( Surprisingly for most of us it does not even sound strange ). The research that we do today is equivalent to a house owners attempt to find treasure on the first floor of a house that he has built. If the house is yours is there ever a need to reverse engineer it to understand it better. Would any of us go about searching for new secret rooms in our own villa ? Given the fact that I am ignorant and know very little about my own body, I would prefer to consider myself as a driver. However, I chose to be different and respect the body for giving me space to live in. I am aware that as a driver the choices I make can impact my vehicle in ways that could be good or bad. It is for this reason that I will do the best I can to maintain a symbiotic relationship with this vehicle that I am fortunate to own. I know that if I behave as a parasite, I will end up ruining the vehicle as well as my prospects of living comfortably in this vehicle. The choice that I make is not a selfless one, but an intelligent self preserving choice that is a win win for the body as well as for 'Me'. Dear reader, if you have come so far and you resonate with this thought, do take some time to get in touch with your body. Take some time to become more observant and to respond to the body's needs. Build up a relationship that should help you understand the body better. Prehealing is about creating this relationship with the body. Provide the Right Environment so that the body can take care of itself as well as you. Help the body help you. Jargon used in this post: AI : Artificial Intelligence. As the name denotes it is artificial and not natural. Natural Organic intelligence is highly advanced. Human intelligence however seems more like AI, since we aren't even aware as to how we do the things we do. As I type this blog on my keyboard, I have no clue as to how the body is able to do it all. I dont have to worry about sending the right intensity of nerve current to various muscles in my body, about gathering data from various parts of the brain and creating a mental image of what I need to write and thousands of other biological actions that are executed when I make a simple wish. All what I have learned however is extrinsic knowledge from the environment ( rather from inside) and I keep becoming smarter and smarter as I interact more and more with the environment. That's why, our learning is more like Artificial Intelligence. If we used Natural intelligence we wouldnt have to Re-search, for something that we already have ! CODEC: is a blend word of coder-decoder. In digital parlance codecs help encode as well as decode data. However, codecs are ubiquitous and are required for signalling and communication. Codecs have been around long before man came on earth! To understand how codecs help, you can compare yourself with a friend of yours who does not understand your native tongue. When you speak in your native tongue, you are coding data and creating a sound that can be understood ( decoded) by someone who has the necessary codecs.. If the person lacks the codecs then he/she will not be able to make sense of what is heard. * The Fermi paradox, is the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence and high probability estimates for the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. Simply put, whilst the probability for existence of many intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations (aliens) is very high, it is surprising that we haven't come across any so far.

  • Are you Busy Sitting ?

Blog Overview If you have a very busy lifestyle and you are exhausted at the end of the day, ask yourself if you were Busy Sitting! Most of us who are busy are either 1. Travelling- And are sitting 2. Attending Meetings- Yet again sitting 3. Working at Office - Most of the work is done while you are sitting 4. Come back late at home and need some rest- Sitting on a couch watching TV Steps we could take: Use a fitness tracker or a simple Pedometer to ensure that you are getting the required exercise. Daily monitoring is the Key --------- Keeping yourself busy is good. It is supposed to keep the body fit, the mind engaged and help optimize your productivity. However in this modern Busy-ness driven world, busy is synonymous with sitting for long hours. And if you are very very busy then you are sitting for long hours in different locations. I will keep this post short. The reason as to why I wanted to write on this topic is because there are quite a few Prehealing Participants who are perpetually busy yet do not get enough exercise. Some are so busy that they have been neglecting their dis-eases in order to attend to business. If you find yourself to be of the very busy sitters, here is what you can do Maintain a strict eating regimen. Do not eat just to give company to others. Our digestive system is not a dustbin and the worst thing you can do is to keep loading junk in your system the effects of which will manifest as sickness thereby impacting your business. If you do have to eat, eat light and chose fresh juices instead of bottled beverages or sugary drinks. Walk as and when possible. If you were to reach the airport early, do not sit in the lounge. Take a walk. If you are on a call, do not sit at your desk and talk, instead take a walk as you talk. On an average you can clock 600-1000 steps for every 10 minutes that you spend on the phone. I have to talk with many participants during the day, I do this while I am walking or while I am pacing up and down in my room. Telephonic conversations help me clock around 15000-20000 steps in a day! And when you come home late at night: Avoid crashing on the couch in front of the Television set. White Light at Night can play havoc with your biological clock and TV at night would deprive you of precious family bonding time. Meditate before you go to sleep. It will help you prioritize as well as optimize your lifestyle Wake up early and start your day with 10-15 minutes of Pranayama and light yoga. Make it a point to take 1/4th to ½ tsp of Triphala powder in a glass of water at least 2-3 times a week You should see a marked improvement in your health even if you were to follow these most basic lifestyle changes. Remember, what you earn is of no use if you do not have the wealth that matters the most- HEALTH.

  • Life is a Journey from I to WE

As a newborn and an infant the child is more focused only about self. First comes the 'I'. Later on as the child is able to recognize and connect with its surroundings it becomes aware of its mothers presence and starts to connect with her. As time passes by the zone of 'I' and 'mine' slowly starts extending to others who care for and love the child. As the child grows this zone around the child continues to grow. Its only a matter of time before the child, now a young adult is able to comprehend the world around and connect with it as well. But the journey of life for most of us in the modern world is stalled by then. Many rarely get to move from I to WE. What is this journey the Vedas are talking about? “ I” drives all of us. “ I love”, “ I want”, “ I think”, “ I feel”.. I, I, I and on and on it goes. Without the “ I” it would be very difficult for mankind to even exist. “ I” is the secret of our identity and our existence. “ I” is all that exists in this world. The journey that the Vedas are talking about moving from being “ Self I Centric” to “ Universal I centric”. This journey is not just about saying “ We” but making that We a part of I. In olden times the Gurukula system of education ensured that this training was a part of the daily lifestyle to help the child blossom into an adult. A disciple once asked his Guru “ Swami, how can I get rid of selfishness? How can I become selfless? ” To this the Guru smiled and replied “You cannot be self less. Self is everything. The very quality of this creation is the feeling of ‘I’. Observe it, understand it, break free from its illusionary boundaries and then you will see the same self in everyone and everything around. Be true to this universal self and you no longer are Self-fish but a Self Ocean “ The Ancient Vedic way of Life took one through the following stages of evolution Stage 1. Purely "I" Centric (Infant ) The infant was loved and care was taken to create an environment that would help nurture qualities of universal love Stage 2. Understands the boundaries of Self (Child ) – Taught to respect others and practice basic sacrifices for the sake of siblings, family and friends Stage 3. Understands the importance of being Selfless (Teen and Young Adult) – Grown up to be dependable citizen in the society, who can be trusted and relied upon by friends , family and community members Stage 4. Practices being Selfless ( Parent ) Stage 5. Transitions from I to WE ( Universal Parent ) If you are reading this blog then you are either at Stage 3.4 or5 and we all can decide to follow the path of a " Universal Parent". It is time for each of us to start giving more value to " We" rather than "Me". We have to break free from the shackles of modern “I” centric lifestyle. Look around, and see how you can be of help. There are millions of opportunities for us to make a difference in someone else’s life. We need to take decisions and lead a life from the vantage point of the " Parent" and "Universal parent". Every action has an impact and we have to ensure that our decisions are in the best interest of everyone. Many of these decisions could impact one at the personal comfort level, yet it would be of great help to many. A " Universal Parent" would not hesitate for a moment when it comes to taking a decisions that would benefit the masses. For e.g the main reason as to why we ( Prehealing Participants) avoid grains Grains grow on grasses and to supply the demand for grains more and more forests need to be cut down so that grasses can be grown Growing grasses impacts the delicate ecosystem balance. Over a period of time most of the forests will be reduced to Human Feeding Grasslands Cutting down of the trees impacts biodiversity and a lot of animal species that are dependent on forests have nowhere to go Grasses are cut and burnt after harvest and this releases a lot of green house gases into the air. ( Fruit trees on the other hand bear fruit for much longer periods ) Most of the grains are not gut friendly and need to be processed to make them easier to digest thereby increasing our carbon footprint If we stop using grains then we would be dependent on trees that bear fruits, nuts and vegetables and this would impact not only our health but our environment too. To exclude grains, non vegetarian foods, fast foods etc is quite difficult for many, yet this decision will benefit the ecosystem as well as our future generations. A little bit of gustatory sacrifice can go a long way in helping our children live in a better world. Well this is but a small example as to how we could decide to embrace " WE" over "ME". The modern 'I' centric lifestyle has already taken its toll and if we are really keen to live a good life and see our children live a good life as well then we have no choice but to embrace a " We" centric lifestyle.

  • Education for Life...

When my teacher used to say " Education is for life and not for living ", I barely understood the profoundness of the saying. As I went out in the world, worked with others and saw as to how mechanical the act of earning could be, the things educated people could do, the acts they would engage in and the extent they could go to just to get an edge over the other person - I realized the need to understand what it meant to be educated and its application in day to day life. Modern Education has lost its focus. Sharing and caring is something we have long forgotten. Fight for survival is what we believe in, when in fact there is no reason for us to fight. There is plenty for everyone and we all know it. But, right now, do all the people who inhabit this planet have what they need- Peace, love , happiness, sufficient food, clothing and shelter- a planet worth living on, a life worth looking forward to ? If not, aren’t there a few of us hoarding as much as we can when there are so many who are struggling to earn even a decent square meal a day ?. The PreHealing way is unique. We do not indulge in the easy habit of finger pointing. “ You know Das, my neighbor has tons of cash stashed away and that politician, he has access to billions of dollars. If only these guys would share ......” Well the question I would want to ask is ‘ Why can’t we? Why can’t we share the little we have and do whatever is in our hands? ' It is true that the majority of us do not have access to millions and billions, but it is us - the majority who make millionaires and billionaires. It is us millions of ordinary people who make the Corporates, the business owners, the politicians, the actors, artists and the leaders wealthy. Most of us want a life that is easy and do not want to take risks questioning, risks challenging and most importantly risks ‘ Doing’ the right things. Since we constitute the majority, the world is in a mess because of all of us. It is in a mess because of our approach and the way we choose to lead our life The PreHealing approach would be to ' DO ' rather than to blame and wait for someone else to take the initiative. We make the change rather than blame others who have actually been elected by us, sponsored by us.... in short are our creations - so that we can use them as punching bags. We create a community of like minded people. Within this protective cocoon of ours we try to find answers to those issues that we are concerned about. If there are no pressing issues at the moment, we look around and find ways and means to enhance the quality of our lives as well as lives of those around us. Most importantly we ensure that we believe in the unity of mankind and do the best we can to live and let live. Rising above yours and mine, rising above religions, rising above ethnicity, forgetting the boundaries of nations that separate us and ensuring that we work towards uniting the millions is a good way to start using our Education. If this Education can be used for making our planet a better place for all of us as well as for the future generations then it is definitely - Education for Life... We will discuss about Holistic Education vs Modern Education in another post

  • When Indra Kills the Cow

"Get out " said the Brahmin as he chased the hapless cow with a stick in his hand. " This is the last time this wretch is going to ruin my garden" he thought to himself. Whack ; He struck her yet once again. The cow ran faster now, her eyes glazed with fear. It was then that misfortune struck. The cow tried to jump across the fencing. Her attempt landed her right in the middle of the fence on a sharp stump of an Acacia tree. The stump pierced her heart and killed her instantly. In ancient India it was a sin to kill a cow as it was considered sacred. The Brahmin was summoned to the kings court. " Are you the Brahmin who killed a cow" asked the King. The Brahmin was prepared for this question. Feigning reverence for the King, who never tolerated falsehood, the Brahmin said " O mighty king, there is nothing I do on my own. As you are aware, all the sense organs of man are controlled by Lord Indra; the God of senses. It was he who has killed the cow. I am but an instrument through which he carried out this act. Please do not punish me for something that I have no control over…" It worked. The King thought for some time and agreed with the Brahmin's point of view, the court adjourned, the Brahmin went back to work in the royal gardens. It was sometime in the evening that the Brahmin saw the King entering the garden with his favorite minister. Noticing the Brahmin the king remarked " This place is so beautiful, its like heaven. Who maintains these gardens?". With great humility the Brahmin said " O King, I am the gardener and I look after these gardens" " Oh so you mange the gardens. Well, but who is it who has made this beautiful pond here asked the king. " I have made this pond , O king…" "And this patch of grass to rest upon ?" "This too was made by me, O King" The king seemed amazed. " You maintain these gardens single handedly, you have made this exquisite pond surrounded by this cool green patch of grass… O gardener , you seem to be an all rounder. I would like to know more about your contributions to the Royal garden. I am really amazed! " The gardener couldn’t believe his ears. He had to make use of this opportunity and he was not going to let go of this one. " O Beloved king, all of what you see here has been done by me. There is the patch of rare fragrant flowers found only in this garden and I have taken the pains to procure these flowers from distant lands so that your highness could enjoy their beauty and fragrance. I am also very good at carving. I do it in my spare time and the idols of those dancing damsels that adorn the pool have also been made by me. And yes, the hammock that is cradled in between the two majestic Margosa trees have been woven by me too….." The king smiled and sighed a sigh of relief " You saved me the trip to heaven" he said. He looked to his guards and told them to arrest the gardener. " O King. I know you hate when people lie. I know that you punish only liars. I swear that I haven't lied. Please check the records. I have told you about the things that I have personally done for this garden of mine- of yours. " It was then the King asked " You did all this and it was Indra who killed the cow ?" What does this story have to do with us ? How many times do we blame somebody else, something else and everything but us for all the problems we have in our life. That crazy driver, that stupid servant, my husband, if not for my wife.. Cribbing, blame shifting, being sad, sorry, depressed .. All these are ways and means of making ourselves helpless victims. We have excuses for all our failures, but when it comes to our achievements we are just like the Brahmin. Aren't our Dis-Eases the biggest failures in our lives? Dis-eased body, diseased relationships, diseased work environment, dis-eased thinking….... And then, we blame, blame and blame. It is because of the stress, our work, our surroundings, the polluted environment, our politicians, corruption… the list goes on and on. Right now we can chose to be Disease free. Well if you are able to keep control over the DIS then you will always be at Ease D- Control the DIET ( There are 5 types of Diets : one diet each for each of the sense organs ) I- Control your Intellect ( So that it is able to use advanced logic rather than what seems obvious). In this age of Information technology, most of us have been poisoned with too much information, so much so that we don’t know as to what needs to be done and are as helpless as those whom we call ignorant. S- Control your Stress ( Stress is due to Fear and uncertainty of the outcome) Is all this as easy as it sounds. Yes it is . I will surely touch upon all these points later on , but for now... I CHOOSE to stop blaming Indra. I will preheal every dis-ease even before it manifests in my reality, and for those that have already manifested, I will preheal the root cause, and the symptom is sure to disappear.

  • Purva-Tapa and Pre-Healing

One of the greatest battles ever fought was about to begin. The armies on both the sides were ready, waiting for a sign so that they could hurl themselves on to each other. This war was being fought between members of the same clan. They were all related and many had to make a painful choice of picking one side versus the other. In fact most weren't even enemies . A war that was being fought because those who were in power turned a blind eye to the festering hatred, ego issues, greed, jealousy and the unethical practices of their close kith and kin who abused the power that they had access to.. This was a unique war. The war had not even begun, but Arjuna had already visualized the end of the war. He saw the battlefield strewn with bodies of his beloved relatives. No longer did victory mean much to him. He did see himself victorious, but now with all the blood of his near and dear ones on his hands, it really did not matter. He shared this vision with Krishna, his best friend, his consultant , his charioteer and his Lord. Instead of being irritated by this seemingly cowardly act of his, Sri Krishna shared with Arjuna the ultimate knowledge of creation- The Bhagwad Gita. Armed with the knowledge of truth and having cleared all his doubts , Arjuna fought valiantly and won the war. And yes Yudhisthira too did consult Krishna. However he did it after the war. With a heavy heart, he approached his beloved lord and expressed his sorrow at having to kill his own kith and kin. He went on and on and all that Krishna did was to lend him a shoulder to cry upon. Arjuna followed the path of PurvaTapa. He was a dreamer. Using the power of dreaming or virtualization he created a virtualized instance of the war. In this virtual creation of his, he won the war. Post the virtual victory, he experienced the after effects of war. His virtualized instance of the war was so realistic that he began to mourn the death of his near and dear ones. Having experienced a state of sorrow even before an occasion arose, Arjuna raised pertinent questions and Sri Krishna not only answered the questions but blessed him with a divine vision that revealed to him the nature of creation. Post this vision Arjuna was healed. He made a choice, fought the war and was unaffected by the results. Yudhisthira on the other hand was not a dreamer. He knew fully well that this war was a necessity and could not be averted. He did not waste his time before the war asking stupid questions to Sri Krishna. However the devastating effects of the war did affect him. Post war , he approached Krishna for solace. Why then was the Bhagwad Gita not given to Yudhisthira too? Why then was Yudhisthira not blessed with the divine vision that could clear up all his sorrows and empower him with the truth? Purva Tapa is the key. Arjuna experienced the results of his decision even before they materialized in his real world. He used the power of virtualization to create and experience a reality that would soon be his. He lived in the reality albeit virtually. When the reality appeared dark, selfish and worthless he questioned his very act and did something that no warrior in the heat of war would imagine doing. He put down his weapons and turned to his guide, his guru for advice. Post war he never regretted his decision. Paschya Tapa was what Yudhisthira indulged in. Whilst he was confident that he had taken the right decision and had fought the war valiantly he was submerged in sadness post war. However there is nothing much you can do after you have already committed an act. There was no way he could restore all the ones he had killed back to life. Krishna like all the spiritual masters discouraged PaschyaTapa. Every disease leads to Tapa or regret. If it is Paschyatapic in origin then there is nothing much you can do. The damage is done and you have to face the consequences of the disease. Post disease healing would surely help but the damage has already been done. However if the disease is PurvaTapic in origin; a virtualized instance of reality with a disease that hasn't even expressed itself then you have ways and means to change your life so that you can avert the disaster. Pre Healing is about Inner Transformation to ensure that the Body, Mind as well as the Spirit are healthy and fit. It is about using IT for IT; using Information Technology for Inner Transformation. The list of sciences that we have access to, to facilitate prehealing is endless. Yoga, Pranayama, Dietetics and Nutrition, Meditations, Religious philosophy... the list goes on and on. IT for IT is the key here. Pre Healing can be used at any stage of a disease. IT is the Key :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanings of certain words that have been used in this post. PaschyaTapa : Regret ( Regretting an act after it has been committed) PurvaTapa: Regret the consequences of an act even before it has been committed Virtualization / Virtual Instance: A term most IT Professionals are familiar with. By the power of virtualization you can create multiple instances of seemingly real yet virtual computers / machines that are hosted on one REAL machine. To put it in layman terms, its what happens when you dream. You create a virtual instance of yourself, go places, indulge in various activities whilst you are verily asleep :)
