Traditional Uses:


1. Juice expressed from fresh leaves or a decoction prepared from dried leaves acts as an antitussive and is used to treat persistent cough.

2. A cough syrup prepared using fresh leaf juice or decoction helps treat all kinds of respiratory issues ranging from Asthma and Wheezing to Bronchitis and respiratory infections.

3. A skin cream made from the leaves of this plant helps treat inflammatory skin conditions like Eczema and Psoriasis.

4. Herbal cigarettes made with the leaves can be used to treat Asthma.
